There are three different conjugations in Spanish. Verbs of the first conjugation terminate in -ar.
Examples: hablar, explicar, estudiar
The conjugation of such verbs in the present tense follows:

The present tense in Spanish is used in the same way as the simple present tense in English, namely, to describe an action which goes on every day or in general.
El maestro siempre habla español en la clase.
The teacher always speaks Spanish in class.
Ellos estudian en la misma clase de nosotros.
They study in the same class as us.
