Shortened Forms & Positioning
In this exercise, change the position of the adjective, in parentheses, and place it after the noun which it modifies. Supply the noun followed by the correct form of the indicated adjective. Follow example.

Useful Grammar For This Quiz
The following adjectives drop the final -o when they precede the nouns which they modify: bueno, malo, uno, alguno, ninguno, primero, tercero.
un buen hombre
el primer libro
Just the usual agreement , however, when they precede a feminine noun or nouns in the plural.
una buena muchacha
en ninguna parte
los primeros libros
The words grande and ciento lose their final syllable when placed before the nouns they modify.
una gran ciudad
un gran hombre
cien personas
cien libros
If, of course, they follow the nouns they modify they retain their usual form.
una ciudad grande
la calle Ciento Dos
A few adjectives such as grande, pobre, and caro change their meaning slightly when placed before the nouns they modify.
un gran hombre
a great man
un hombre grande
a large man
una pobre mujer
a poor, pitiful woman
una mujer pobre
