Useful Grammar
A reflexive verb is one where the subject acts upon itself. The reflexive pronouns in Spanish are placed directly before the conjugated verb.

The conjugation of a typical reflexive verb lavarse follows:

Keep in mind that many verbs are reflexive in Spanish which are not used reflexively in English.
